as long as they aren't from too many versions beyond 0.78 they should be OK to integrate.Ĭoinops appears to be closed source, so not much help. I would be happy to add later drivers to if I knew what problem they solved, and where to get the source of the drivers. however, given that lr-fba-next in retropie is based on current MAME, and mame2003 (for example) is based on 2003 mame, i would guess that lr-fba-next is in most cases the best emulation for any game that both it and mame2003 support. Lr-mame2003 is open source so anyone is welcome to update it. Generally speaking, MAME is more accurate, but FBA is faster. is what someone with the skills should do for the RPI to make reteopie even better. What they did with Coinops for the old Xbox which has added a lot of the fixes and newer games while still using an older M.A.M.E. This is the my original collection of Final Burn Alpha updated to the latest version released the 0.2.97.43 which follows in part the MAME v0.197 The archive is composted of: Official Final Burn Alpha v0.2.97.43 (32 bit, 64 bit and for XP) Final Burn Alpha v0.2.97.43 (French Edition) Final Burn Alpha v0.2.97.43 SVN (revision more. It's a damn shame no one at retroarch updates the drivers for mame2003 as there has been a lot of corrections and new games added since 2003 that can easily work on the RPI that can make it the best M.A.M.E. The FBA part of retroarch pretty much gets updated to the latest release of FBA which is great for updated drivers but also shows stuff that's still beta and doesn't really run at all (MK2-UMK3).
